Emma Godfrey writes third practice note on the law of Homelessness for Thomson Reuter’s Practical Law.

Emma has been invited by Practical Law to write a series of practice notes on the duties and powers of local authorities under Part VII Housing Act 1996, covering the major legal concepts including eligibility, homelessness, priority need and intentional homelessness. This is the third practice note, Homelessness: Priority Need, that has now been published as part of Practical Law's Public Sector service.

Practical Law provides an online subscription-based service of legal information and materials to over 4,300 organisations worldwide, including around 200 local authorities and Housing Associations, over 2,000 firms (including 80% of the UK's 500 largest law firms), and more than 2,000 companies (90% of FTSE 100).

Emma continues to co-author the Fifth Edition of LexisNexis Claims to the Possession of Land, a highly successful loose-leaf work on the law of Landlord and tenant.
