John McLinden QC sits on LUMS Mooting Shield Grand Final judging panel

28 March 2012

Field Court Chambers co-sponsored the London Universities Mooting Shield (LUMS) for the fifth year running. The Grand Final took place on 14 March at Allen and Overy's auditorium in London.

John McLinden QC  sat as one of the Justices of the Supreme Moot Court of the United Kingdom for the Grand Final between University College London and Queen Mary, University of London.

Queen Mary won the title of 2011-2012 LUMS Grand Champion and was awarded the coveted London Universities Mooting Shield.

LUMS is an annual mooting league competition featuring teams of undergraduate Law students from London's Universities. The competition is unique: no other competition focuses solely on London Universities, and it's one of a very few to operate for all but the last round on a league, rather than a knockout system.
