James Fowler began his pupillage with us in September 2024.

During the non-practising period of his pupillage, James focused on family, property, housing, wills, and trust law.

Before coming to the bar, James worked as a paralegal in an international law firm.

James read Law at St Hugh’s College, University of Oxford. He was awarded the Law Faculty Prize for the highest mark in Moral and Political Philosophy. He also holds an MA in Early Modern History from King’s College London.

James accepts instructions in all of chambers’ practice areas.
