We are delighted to welcome Andrew Burrell and James Fowler who start their pupillage with us today.
About James Fowler
James read Law at St Hugh’s College, University of Oxford. He was awarded the Law Faculty Prize for the highest mark in Moral and Political Philosophy. He also holds an MA in Early Modern History from King’s College London.
Previously James has worked as:
- a paralegal in an international law firm covering public law and banking
- an employment law caseworker for the Independent Workers' Union of Great Britain - drafting particulars of claim on behalf of IWGB members as well as representing them at grievance hearings with employers.
About Andrew Burrell
Andrew read Human, Social and Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge. He achieved distinctions in his Graduate Diploma in Law and in his Postgraduate Diploma in Bar Vocational Studies from City University.
Before pupillage, Andrew worked as:
- a High Court Judicial Assistant in the Chancery Division - assisting with a wide range of probate and intellectual property-related cases.
- an adviser to a political party, primarily on education and children’s public law policy.
