We are delighted that a group of West Midlands local authorities have appointed us to their 1st barristers legal services framework.
Following the competitive tender process, we were pleased to have been successful in each area we put ourselves forward for:
- adult social services
- governance and public law, including education
- housing and civil litigation, and
- employment.
Work allocated to members of the panel is worth approximately £60 million over 4 years.
About the West Midlands Local Authorities partnership
The partnership comprises:
- Birmingham City Council
- Coventry City Council
- Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council
- Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council
- Shropshire Council
- Stratford-on-Avon District Council
- Telford & Wrekin Council
- Walsall Council
- Warwick District Council
- City of Wolverhampton Council
The framework is also open to local authorities across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, the West Midlands and Worcestershire.
About the framework
The barristers framework takes effect today (14 September). It is expected to run for 3 years with an option to extend until 13 September 2030.
