Francis Hoar represented anti-fraud investigator Mark Edmunds in his unfair dismissal case against Tower Hamlets council.
Mr Edmunds claimed that despite the local authority stating he had been made redundant, he was actually dismissed from his job because of his race.
As part of his work, Mr Edmunds had led an investigation which resulted in 12 senior employees from an Asian background being fired. He was subsequently threatened and intimidated by those he had been investigating.
