From today, John McLinden takes on the role of our head of chambers.
John Critchley, who was head of chambers from 2010 until last month, remains in full time practice.
Commenting on his new role, John McLinden KC said: "As a set, we are hugely grateful to John Critchley for his wise leadership over the last 16 years. About John McLinden KC
John practised as a barrister in New Zealand before moving to the UK, where he was called to the Bar in 1991. He took silk in 2011. John has a broad practice covering commercial, common law and chancery litigation, appeals and arbitrations. He has appeared in numerous significant and high-profile cases.
About John Critchley
John's litigation practice spans media & entertainment law, chancery and general business and property law. John undertakes inquest and public law work, primarily for local government clients.
He has acted in all the key cases considering the intersection of assisted suicide, public policy and estate administration.
He is an experienced and highly regarded mediator.
