Lily Greenhough joins us today as a pupil barrister

We are delighted to welcome Lily Greenhough who starts her pupillage with us today.

 About Lily Greenhough

Lily studied law at the University of Cambridge. Subsequently, at the University of Law, she achieved a high distinction on the Bar Practice Course and a distinction in her Pro Bono LLM.

For the Bar Practice Course, she was awarded 2 scholarships:

  • a Senior Advocacy Scholarship from the University of Law, and
  • the Lord Denning Scholarship from Lincoln's Inn.

From Lincoln’s Inn she also received:

  • the Ede & Ravenscroft Wig and Gown Prize 2025 for achieving the highest mark on the Bar Practice Course at the Inn
  • a Buchanan Prize for obtaining a mark of over 85 in the Bar Practice Course.

In 2025, Lily won the Lincoln's Inn Essay Prize for her essay on unfair dismissal reform.

Before pupillage, Lily:

  • spent a year working as a caseworker at Advocate - the Bar's national pro bono charity. She worked across civil, public, and family law and was the housing law lead
  • volunteered for other legal clinics and charities including a summer internship in Birmingham, Alabama.

Lily currently volunteers at The Law Corner, a law clinic in north London.
