Ryan Anderson defended a company against claims of direct race discrimination, harassment, and unfair dismissal. One minor aspect of the harassment claim succeeded based on a factual concession. However the remaining 45 allegations of the discrimination claim were dismissed.

Timothy Carlisle acted for the defendant company which successfully resisted the 2 claimant companies’ application to enforce their third-tier loan security against its development site. The claimant companies applied for an order for sale of the land to enforce their loan security against the defendant, against its wishes and those of the top-tier chargee.
Suzannah Cotterill has been appointed to the Sport Resolutions Panel of Mediators from 1 April 2024. As well as her family law practice, Suzannah focuses on sports law, mostly equestrian law. She advises and represents parties in disputes involving horse sales and purchases, breach of contract as well as in related personal injury claims. She also acts for clients before sporting disciplinary and regulatory bodies.

We are delighted to welcome Aristide Hoang-Brown who starts his pupillage with us this week. Aristide achieved a Distinction/Outstanding in his Barrister Training Course (BTC). For 18 months after his law degree, he worked as a paralegal in a busy family law firm. Since completing his BTC he has been working as a County Court advocate.
