Family law group on Child Abduction Lawyers’ Association pro bono duty advocate scheme for June
For the 2nd year running, our family law barristers are on the Child Abduction Lawyers’ Association pro bono duty advocate rota. The CALA duty advocates scheme aims to advise and assist litigants in person in international cases in the High Court (which generally involve child abduction).

Max Lansman represents personal representatives of an ex-employee of M&S in disability discrimination claim
Max Lansman acted for the personal representatives of an ex-employee of M&S who was dismissed following her cancer diagnosis. The tribunal extended time for the claim to be brought, found she had been discriminated against on the basis of her disability and concluded that reasonable adjustments by the employer would have alleviated the disadvantage.
