We are delighted to welcome Aristide Hoang-Brown who starts his pupillage with us this week. Aristide has an LLB from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London (SOAS).
While at SOAS, Aristide won the Edmond Fung Prize for Best Performance in Commercial Law with the highest mark ever awarded. He also reached the final of the Rose Heilbron Mooting Cup.
After his LLB, Aristide worked as a paralegal for 18 months in a busy family law firm, a role which included court advocacy in Family Law Act and Children Act proceedings.
Before starting his Barrister Training Course (BTC), Aristide was awarded the State School (merits-based) Scholarship and a Blackstone Entrance Exhibition by Middle Temple.
He completed his BTC in July 2021 and achieved a Distinction/Outstanding.
Since then, Aristide has been working as a County Court advocate. During this time, he has conducted more than 200 hearings, including small claims trials.
