Chambers welcomes new tenants Robert Sharp and Benedict Flinn

08 September 2026

We are delighted that Robert Sharp and Benedict Flinn join us as tenants after completing pupillage with us. They accept instructions in all our practice areas.

During the first 6 non-practising months of pupillage:

  • Robert focused on public, Court of Protection and family law
  • Benedict focused on family, property, housing, homelessness and trusts law.

Both have trained in various areas of law during their second six.

About Robert Sharp

Before pupillage, he worked in the housing and litigation department at a London local authority.

Prior to embarking on a career in law, Robert spent 10 years as the head of campaigns at English PEN, a human rights charity. There, his focus was on press freedom and libel.

Robert is a qualified mediator.

About Benedict Flinn

Before coming to the Bar, Benedict worked as a legal assistant for a local authority. He regularly conducted advocacy in possession proceedings in the County Court and also in Magistrates’ Court prosecutions under the Licensing Act 2003, Education Act 1996 and Environmental Protection Act 1990.

Previously, he also spent time working as paralegal in the Paris office of a major US law firm.
