Christopher Stirling to speak at Jersey International Family Law Conference – sponsored by Corbett Le Quesne

Christopher Stirling will speak at the 2025 Jersey International Family Law Conference, sponsored by Corbett le Quesne. The theme of the conference is non-court dispute resolution.

This year's keynote speaker, Sir Nicholas Francis will talk about private FDRs.

Christopher will discuss the use of the civil mediation model in resolving family finance disputes.

The conference brings together family law practitioners from across the UK, who specialise and have a keen interest in non-court dispute resolution. There will be sessions in respect of mediation, hybrid mediation, the Certainty Project, arbitration and artificial intelligence.

About Christopher Stirling

Christopher Stirling practises in all aspects of matrimonial finance but specialises in matters involving complicated assets and involving aspects of company, property and trusts law. He is often instructed in matrimonial cases that involve property disputes with third parties – intervener proceedings.

He has a niche specialisation in the overlap between family and civil property litigation and linked enforcement issues: for example Kremen v Agrest where Christopher appeared twice in the Court of Appeal. He is frequently instructed in complex cases involving interveners whether trusts, companies or individuals and in respect of complex pre-nuptial agreements. Christopher has particular expertise in TOLATA cases and is a co-author of Resolution’s guide to Cohabitation Law and Practice Handbook.

He is a family Recorder with a specialist ticket to hear complex financial remedy cases in central London.
