Family Law Week’s financial remedy: practice & procedure conference on Tuesday 11 March features a debate ‘The Law Commission is right – our Financial Remedy law is outmoded and needs fundamental change’. Rebecca Davies will argue against the motion.

The conference takes place at Cavendish Conference Centre, London W1 near Oxford Circus from 9am-5pm.

Sir Nicholas Cusworth KC will deliver the keynote speech and there will also be presentations on intervenor claims and arbitration.

About Rebecca Davies

Rebecca Davies acts for applicants, respondents and intervenors in financial remedy proceedings – advising on issues related to concealment of assets, cross-border assets and liabilities, conduct and its relevance to final orders and s.37 reversible transactions.

Her work includes representing clients at:

  • FDR appointments- public and private
  • hearings involving international factors eg jurisdictional issues
  • complex directions hearings and contested final hearings, and
  • out-of-court negotiations.

Rebecca is an assisting barrister for the charity Not Beyond Redemption. She is ranked a ‘rising star’ in Legal 500’s children and domestic abuse category.
