In this webinar, Jonathan Pennington Legh, Aristide Hoang-Brown and Harrison Engler will discuss rent repayment order applications and enforcing civil penalties against landlords who are in breach of the various offences set out in s.40(3) of the Housing and Planning Act 2016.
With the cost-of-living crisis and as local authorities deal with limited budgets, recovering money from errant landlords has become increasingly critical.
- But what are the relevant housing offences?
- How do you obtain an effective rent repayment order?
- When should a civil penalty be made?
This webinar will answer all these questions, and more.
