Lily Cooke joins as a tenant

03 August 2022

We are delighted to welcome family law barrister Lily Cooke as a new tenant.

Lily’s practice covers all family law proceedings: children law (both private and public), domestic abuse, divorce and ancillary relief.

She regularly represents parents, other family members, guardians and local authorities in child law cases. Lily was called to the Bar in 2018.

Her recent notable cases include:

  • representing a young mother facing the permanent removal of her children with a care plan of adoption. Following Lily’s cross-examination of the allocated social worker about the lack of RE: B-S analysis within the local authority’s final evidence, the matter was adjourned for further assessment and analysis. Subsequently, the local authority  changed their care plan to a return of the children to their mother. Proceedings are ongoing.
  • acting for the wife in the High Court financial remedy proceedings between two Iranian nationals with divorce petitions running in both England and Iran.
