We are delighted to welcome Robert Sharp and Benedict Flinn who start their pupillage with us today.
About Robert Sharp
Robert studied politics & philosophy at the University of York. He worked on freedom of expression and privacy campaigns for more than a decade.
In 2021, he completed a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) for which he achieved a 'distinction'.
The University of Law awarded him a prize for opinion writing.
Before pupillage, Robert worked as:
- an assistant lawyer for a local authority housing and litigation department and,
- a county court advocate, providing support and representation to clients in various legal proceedings.
About Benedict Flinn
Benedict has a BA (Hons) in modern and medieval languages (French and Italian) from the University of Cambridge. He achieved a distinction in his GDL from the University of Law.
Before pupillage, he worked as:
- a paralegal in the international arbitration practice of a US-headquartered law firm
- a legal assistant for a local authority, and
- a volunteer education advocate for the Communities Empowerment Network.
