Field Court Chambers is shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden death yesterday of our highly regarded member Stephen O’Rourke QC.
Head of Chambers John Critchley said, “Although Stephen’s main practice was in Scotland – where he was Principal Crown Counsel and Keeper of the Library, amongst his many distinguished appointments and accomplishments – he made a significant contribution to our Chambers during his time here. His death at the age of 45 is a dreadful loss and we send our sincere condolences to all his professional colleagues, family and friends.”
