We are proud to share that 6 of our barristers are named in the 2025 Pro Bono Recognition list of England and Wales, published today.
John McLinden KC, Keith Chipato, Max Lansman, Ryan Anderson, Rebecca Davies, and Harrison Engler appear on the list.
Now in its second year, the list is an initiative endorsed by the Lady Chief Justice with the sponsorship of the Attorney General’s Pro Bono Committee and the support of The Law Society, Bar Council and all major pro bono legal organisations.
It recognises solicitors and barristers across England and Wales who have given 25 hours or more of their time to work pro bono over the past year.
Examples of pro bono work completed in the last 12 months:
- Rebecca Davies acting pro bono for a mother who wished to have contact with her son after her release from prison, referred by Not Beyond Redemption
- Max Lansman, instructed by the Work Rights Centre, in a successful application for the Employment Tribunal to reconsider its decision on an employer’s identity
- Harrison Engler representing the mother of a child with learning needs via Advocate, in a dispute with the child's father about their daughter's schooling and contact arrangements.
