We have welcomed two new practitioners to Field Court Chambers in September.
Sarah McKeown specialises in housing and public law in both England and Wales. She appears regularly for, and advises, homeless applicants and public authorities in homelessness appeals, including second appeal and judicial review claims. Sarah also appears in the Court of Protection and has acted for the patient, members of their family and local authority.
Rebecca Handcock worked as a legal advisor at the Ministry of Defence and as a legal officer in The Attorney General’s Office before recently completing a third six pupillage. Her areas of practice include housing, COP and public law.
John Critchley, Head of Chambers, said: ‘We are delighted to have made two impressive additions to our already strong housing team. Sarah is a well-established and highly regarded practitioner whose experience, particularly with public authorities, will complement other members of the team. Rebecca is starting out on her career at the independent bar with the advantage of having gained valuable experience in government legal departments.’
If you are interested in instructing Sarah or Rebecca, please contact the Clerks on clerks@fieldcourt.co.uk or telephone 020 7405 6114.
